Dr. Nesrin Al-Dabbas is a consultant psychiatrist and addiction specialist in Amman, Jordan. She possesses extensive professional and academic experience in diagnosing and treating mental and psychological disorders in adults and adolescents, adhering to the latest evidence-based medical standards.
Dr. Al-Dabbas earned her medical degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed her residency in psychiatry at King Abdullah University Hospital. She also served as Chief Resident at Al-Rasheed Hospital Center, gaining advanced leadership and clinical experience in the field of mental health.
She passed the Jordanian Board Examination in Psychiatry with distinction, achieving first place nationwide. She furthered her academic career by earning a Master of Science in Psychiatry (MSc) from Cardiff University, UK, graduating first in her class.
As part of her international academic role, Dr. Nesrin Al-Dabbas will be an Honorary Lecturer from 2025 to 2028 at the Faculty of Medicine – Master's Program in Psychiatry at Cardiff University in the UK, where she contributes to medical education and the training of physicians in the field of psychiatry.
Dr. Al-Dabbas is an active member of the Jordanian Psychiatric Association and the Jordanian Medical Association, and she actively participates in raising awareness about mental health both locally and internationally. She works as a medical consultant for the BBC and has participated in numerous media appearances specializing in mental health issues, psychological disorders, and psychological well-being, in addition to her medical contributions to Al-Rawabi Medical Journal.
Currently, Dr. Nesrin Al-Dabbas runs her own clinic in Amman, Jordan, where she provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for psychological disorders and addiction, in collaboration with a specialized team of therapists. She is committed to providing integrated and personalized mental health care aimed at improving the quality of life and achieving psychological well-being for her patients.
