Dr. Ahmed Mdallal is a consultant in Internal Medicine, Adult Nephrology, Hypertension, and Kidney Transplantation, and serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Mutah University. He holds a Canadian fellowship in Adult Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation from Queen’s University (Canada), and is a member of both the American and European societies for nephrology and kidney transplantation. He is board-certified in Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation as well as in Internal Medicine in Jordan, and also holds a Higher Specialization Degree in Internal Medicine from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Mdallal earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2005, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at King Abdullah University Hospital, and obtained the Higher Specialization Degree in 2010. He then completed his Canadian fellowship in Adult Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at Kingston General Hospital, affiliated with Queen’s University, during the period 2012–2014.
He has extensive experience in evaluating and managing a wide range of internal medicine cases, as well as handling kidney transplant cases, with a particular focus on critical care internal medicine and adult nephrology. He also has a special interest in managing and slowing the progression of chronic kidney disease and treating renovascular hypertension. He currently works at his private clinic in Irbid, Jordan.
