Dr. Amjad Adnan Jumian Senior Consultant in pediatric Psychiatry He holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists - UK MRCPsych, FRCPsych Clinical Psychiatry Diploma Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons - Ireland, pediatric and adult Psychiatry Diploma from the Institute of Psychiatry University London, in addition to a postgraduate degree in pediatric psychiatry - University of Birmingham.
Dr. Amjad has extensive experience that exceeds thirty-four years. Dr. Amjad graduated from the University of Jordan in 1987 AD and worked in the United Kingdom for five years in pediatric and adult psychiatry clinics at the Institute of Psychiatry - London. He also worked in a hospital Queen Elizabeth - Birmingham, where he trained in all branches of psychiatry: elderly, children and adolescents, adults, eating disorders, addiction, forensic psychiatry, behavioral therapy, psychiatry for the deaf, and treatment of mental illness during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Dr. Amjad Jumian worked in the Royal Medical Services, where he established the first child psychiatry clinics in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
In medical services, Jordan University Hospital and King Hussein Cancer Center.
Dr. Amjad received the King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein Award, the first rank for the Distinguished Leadership Supervisory Employee Award. He is also a member of the Scientific Committee for Psychiatry and an Examiner in the Jordanian Medical Council, and a member of the Scientific Committee for Psychiatry in the Arab Council for Health Specializations and an Examiner in the Arab Board until now, and he is the Vice-Chairman of the Committee Scientific specialization in child and adolescent psychiatry in the Arab Council for Health Specializations so far.
Dr. Amjad is currently working in his private clinic located in the Fifth Circle.
