Dr. Amjad kanan is Senior consultant in Obstetrician and Gynecology and infertility with extensive experience and expertise in the field. Dr. Amjad obtained a Medical Degree (M.B.B.S) from The University of Jordan in June 1983. Following this, he successfully completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification in the same year.
Dr. Amjad then pursued further specialization and obtained the Jordan Medical Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1988.
Committed to staying updated with the latest advancements in the medical field, Dr. Kanan obtained a Diploma of Family Planning and Reproductive Health Care . And a Fellowship Degree in Cosmetic Gynecology .
Dr.Amjad pursued residencies at prominent medical institutions including Zarqa Military Hospital, Irbid Military Hospital, Princess Haya Hospital, and King Hussein Medical Center. These comprehensive training programs equipped him with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in various aspects of obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr.Kanan worked at King Hussein Medical Center continued to excel in his career and advanced to the position of Specialist at The Jordanian Medical Center under the guidance of Dr. Zaid Kelani, a renowned expert in the field.
Driven by a quest for knowledge and excellence, Dr. Kanan undertook overseas experience, serving as a Senior House Officer at Ealing Hospital NHS Trust in the United Kingdom.
Dr.kanan also served as a Locum Registrar at various hospitals in the United Kingdom ,including Neath General Hospital and Withy bush General Hospital.
Currently, Dr.Kanan holds the esteemed position of Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, specializing in fertility treatment, in the private sector. His passion for helping couples fulfill their dream of starting a family has made him an integral part of the reproductive healthcare landscape.
Dr. Amjad kanaan remains dedicated to professional development and has actively participated in various postgraduate courses and conferences. Notable among his achievements are an Intensive Postgraduate Course in Obstetrics and Gynecology organized by the Jordan Representative Committee of the Royal colleges of gynecology
