Dr. Amjad Al-Assis is a retired Dean of the Royal Medical Services (JRMS) - Head of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck (ORL, H&N) and Head of the ear and cochlear implant team. Advanced specialization in advanced ear surgeries and cochlear implants. Dr. Amjad Al-Assis is the head of the cochlear implant team at the Royal Jordanian Medical Services, with more than 300 cochlear implants experience over the past ten years. He also holds the American Fellowship in Ear Surgery and Diseases, Ear Tumors and Skull Base Surgery from Massachusetts Hospital (MEEI) - Harvard University .
Dr. Amjad Al-Assis is the head of the Skull Base Unit team, which includes a group of neurosurgeons, and is the only team that has performed complex lateral skull base surgeries, to remove brain tumors through the inner ear.
Dr. Amjad Al-Assis has been a member of the Jordanian Board Examination Committee for Otolaryngology since January 2020.
Dr. Amjad Al-Assis performs many nose surgeries, endoscopic sinus surgeries, rhinoplasty surgeries, re-rhinoplasty surgeries, mastoid bone surgeries, hearing ossicles repair, stirrup lifts, and everything related to ear, nose and throat surgeries.
Dr. Amjad Al-Assis is currently working in his private clinic in Jabal Amman, Abu Firas Al-Hamdani Street.
