Dr. Imad Al-Zayat is a consultant in general surgery and laparoscopy, gastroenterology and obesity surgery. Dr. Emad Al-Zayyat joined Kuwait University and graduated in 1984. He received his specialization in general surgery from the Kuwait Institute of Medical Specialties in 1991. He holds a fellowship from the American College of Surgeons, British Royal Surgeons (Glasgow)
Dr. Imad is a member of the International Surgeons Association, Jordan Surgeons Association, Jordanian Obesity Surgeons Association, Jordan Oranim Society. He is also a member of the World Federation of Obesity Surgery . Dr. Emad has extensive experience in the field of general surgery where he worked in Kuwait hospitals from 1984 until 1996. He is also one of the first surgeons to start laparoscopic hysterectomy in 1995, Jordan. He has performed many of these operations in several hospitals in Jordan. Dr. Imad started his career in laparoscopic surgery since 1991 and he performs many laparoscopic operations including: gallbladder cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendectomy. Repair of diaphragmatic hernia and gastroesophageal reflux, (gastric banding, gastric chopping, gastric bypass), hysterectomy, laparoscopy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
