Professor Hamed Al-Barqi is considered one of the pioneers of oral and maxillofacial surgeries in the Arab world. In addition to being a doctor, the professor is an inventor, educator, and a famous medical reference. Professor Hamed held several positions such as a consultant professor in "facial reconstruction" at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in USA, Vice President of the Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in USA, and oral and maxillofacial surgery consultant at King Khalid National Guard Hospital, as well as one of the American Board members. Professor Hamed has many inventions worth to be mentioned, one of it the orthodontic cleaning brush that he invented in 1993.
