Dr. Hashem Barakat has an extensive experience over 17 years in vascular surgery, gained through training and work in several renowned centers and hospitals across the United Kingdom.

He began his professional career by completing the Basic Surgical Training Program in Yorkshire, Northern England. He then joined a vascular surgery research program at the University of Hull, where he earned the prestigious Sol Cohen Award from the British Society of Vascular Surgery in 2014 and completed his PhD thesis with distinction in 2015.

Dr. Hashem has joined the Royal College of Surgeons’ accredited training program in vascular surgery and peripheral catheterization, successfully completing his training in 2022. He also pursued a subspecialty in surgical and catheter-based interventions for revascularization and limb salvage, as well as specialized care for diabetic foot conditions.
